A creamware mug by Josiah Wedgwood & Sons with a strap handle and decorated with a black transfer print entitled 'The Triple Plea'. A lawyer, a doctor and a churchman, illustrate this satirical piece on all three professions.
Circa 1765
Approx - 6 inches (150mm) tall.
In good condition save crack and staining from rim.
